How to submit a request for Accessibility at Wrocław University of Science and Technology?

You can submit a request for accessibility at Wrocław University of Science and Technology using the online form.

What is the timeframe for Accessibility Provision at Wrocław University of Science and Technology?

Wrocław University of Science and Technology is committed to providing accessibility as quickly as possible. The following timeframes apply:

  • Digital accessibility – within 7 days,
  • Architectural and informational-communication accessibility – within 14 days.

If it is not possible to meet the request within this time, you will be informed about the reason for the delay, and the maximum deadline is 2 months.

What to do if Wrocław University of Science and Technology does not provide accessibility?

If Wrocław University of Science and Technology is unable to provide accessibility in a way you find appropriate, you will be informed about alternative solutions.

If we do not provide you with architectural or informational-communication accessibility, you can submit a complaint to the Rector of Wrocław University of Science and Technology or, in the case of digital accessibility, in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Administrative Procedure.

The request in the form of an online form or the complaint will be automatically submitted once sent. You will receive a confirmation of receipt by email.

Architectural Accessibility

If you encounter difficulties moving around the buildings of Wrocław University of Science and Technology (e.g., lack of elevators, ramps, architectural obstacles), you can submit a request for architectural accessibility. The request can be submitted via the online form.

If Wrocław University of Science and Technology does not provide you with architectural accessibility within the specified time or the provision is insufficient, you have the right to file a complaint. A complaint can only be submitted if the University does not provide accessibility in response to the submitted request or if the manner in which accessibility was provided does not meet your expectations. You cannot start the process directly with a complaint.

Digital Accessibility

If you have difficulty accessing websites or mobile applications of Wrocław University of Science and Technology (e.g., the site is not adapted for screen readers), you can submit a request for digital accessibility.

If Wrocław University of Science and Technology does not provide you with digital accessibility within the specified time or the provision is insufficient, you have the right to file a complaint. A complaint can only be submitted if the University does not provide accessibility in response to the submitted request or if the manner in which accessibility was provided does not meet your expectations. You cannot start the process directly with a complaint.

Informational-Communication Accessibility

If you have communication difficulties (e.g., need a sign language interpreter or access to information in a special format), you can submit a request for informational-communication accessibility.

If you need communication with the University to be conducted in a special form (e.g., using alternative methods of contact), you can submit an appropriate request.

If you need support in using services provided by Wrocław University of Science and Technology, you can submit a request for such support.

If Wrocław University of Science and Technology does not provide you with informational-communication accessibility within the specified time or the provision is insufficient, you have the right to file a complaint. A complaint can only be submitted if the University does not provide accessibility in response to the submitted request or if the manner in which accessibility was provided does not meet your expectations.
