PFRON - "Active Local Government" Program
What is the "Active Local Government" Program?
The "Active Local Government" program is intended for individuals with a disability certificate. For students and learners at higher education institutions (bachelor's, master's, long-cycle master's, postgraduate, or doctoral studies conducted in full-time or part-time formats), Module II of this program is available.
Under Active Local Government - Module II, you can apply for:
- a grant to cover education-related costs,
- additional allowances based on individual circumstances,
- financial aid for tuition fees or doctoral dissertation costs.
Who Can Benefit from Module II?
Module II is intended for individuals with a valid disability certificate. Assistance is granted regardless of income or place of residence/registration.

Rules for Using the "Active Local Government - Module II" Program
Important Deadlines
Applications for support must be submitted through the SOW(opens in a new tab) within the following deadlines:
- for the winter semester - by October 10,
- for the summer semester - by March 31.
How Long Can I Use This Support?
Financial support under Module II is granted for one academic semester.
How Often Can I Use This Support?
Support is available for no more than a total of 20 semesters across all forms and levels of study.
