Special Needs

What Are Special Needs?

The term "person with special needs" is used to describe individuals who, for various reasons, require special support or accommodations to fully participate in social, professional, educational, and cultural life. This often refers to people with disabilities, but it can also include other groups facing barriers that make daily functioning more difficult.

Examples of People with Special Needs:

  1. People on the autism spectrum
  2. People with ADHD
  3. People with dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dysorthography
  4. People undergoing cancer treatment
  5. Pregnant women
  6. Others with health conditions but without a disability certificate
